So, I'm now 1 week into the new job. It's going okay, so far mainly paperwork and meetings, mind you from the look of everyone's diary that will remain fairly much the case, just that more events will be added in. I'm going to my first assembly this morning, to publicise the summer reading challenge. I'm not leading this one though, I'm tagging along with someone else so that I have an idea what to do.
Never did get to the bottom of the chocolate thief at work. I bought more chocolates and locked them in a drawer before giving them to the person, she is keeping them locked in the drawer too.
Anything else exciting? Oh, I went to
Twin Lakes along with a whole bunch of adults and children to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of my friend and her foster child being together. That was quite fun, got to do all sorts of childish things, though if I'd realised how long the assault course was I may not have agreed to race a six year old round it. Not that I couldn't keep up, I just got a bit fed up of trying to squeeze through tyres and things, plus lift her over the things that were a bit too high. It was all good fun though, I like running around with kids, glad I've lost a lot of weight this year, I think it would have been considerably harder carrying that extra few stone around.
