Figured I might as well copy Helen and make a Wish list too and even do the same as she has and say email her if you want to buy stuff not from Amazon and she'll delete it 'cos I gave her my password. Of course now we can both add stupid things to each others wishlists. Hmm.

I wrote a blog entry the other day, but I neglected to click post and publish, something which ordinarily wouldn't be a problem as I'd have done it eventually when I got round to closing down the computer, however IE crashed before I got to that point, so my blog was lost, what terrible tragedy... or not.

I could tell you what I blogged about, however I've left it so long now that I can't really remember, I think there was a random observation about adverts, because I'd seen a TV advert for sellotape, which amazed me and I really like the Phones 4 u advert.

Mainly I just said that I was probably too much of a wimp to agree to James' suggestion since what with Helen and Rob's wedding, he'd be likely to actually be in the country next September, and a date involving restaurant and flowers seems a little too scary. Maybe if it was something more like fish and chips or something :-)

Random observation of the day

Yesterday I saw the Queen walking down my road. It's odd, I didn't know she lived in Leicester, but quite frequently I see her walk down my road. Some might say she can't be the Queen, because she'd have lots of bodyguards or something, but she looks like the Queen, and even wears a Queen-like hat and sensible shoes. So clearly it is the Queen. Maybe she likes going for walks amongst her subjects without any guards or anything, pretty safe in the knowledge that no-one would believe that its her, they'd just assume its an old lady who happens to look and dress like the Queen.

Helen saw her too, so you can ask her and prove that its not just me going mad.
