What have I been doing this week? well, not playing WOW as Xfire shows, less than one hour all week! Have to do something about that. I don't seem to have been doing much, hmm, watched a few films, eaten at other people's houses, walked Rex, nothing terribly exciting. I've been busy planning for Hullabaloo's summer club (Landlubbers - Pirate themed) trying to write the script for Pirate TV. A reality TV show in which 5 people are put on a ship to try to live as pirates, each day they have to perform pirate related tasks and one is voted off every day. Since I don't actually watch any reality TV I find it interesting that I've decided to do this, thought it'd be funny :-)

Ooh, I might call it Pirate's log or something instead. Hmm, if people want to help me come up with a name that'd be great, leave suggestions in the comments. Remember though, it's for children!

I've been getting pretty bored this week, that's what always happens when I have stuff to do I think. I really need to get everything sorted for Landlubbers and yet I can't really be bothered, so I'm having to force myself to be motivated every day, irritating. Work is also a bit crazy, no cover for holidays or illness, so we have to do the same amount of work with half the staff when one of us is off (there's only 2 of us). Thankfully I've been allowed to do a couple of extra hours each week to try to catch up, still leaves us behind though as I've been having to work at another library for 6 of the hours we're open, but I can't do more than 2 or 3 extra a week. Oh well, hey everyone go and use your library and borrow as many books as you can. It all goes on book issues you know. If we're not issuing books they don't think we're busy, the fact that we've had a million computer queries doesn't seem to count for anything. Okay, a million might be a slight exaggeration, but I do seem to spend more time helping people with computers than issuing books lately. Although it stops me being bored, I don't think I'd like just issuing books, I like doing enquiries and showing people how to use the internet.

Now, maybe I'll go and play WOW, I would take Rex for a walk as he clearly wants, but I can't as I've got workmen coming sometime between 8 and 12 to look at my loft. The council is doing this free loft insulation scheme for houses in the most inefficient areas of the city, our area shows as very bad apparently. Mind you I think it's possible that I have insulation as my house always seems warmer than next door, but I thought I'd better get it checked out.
