It's official
Mark is a convention addict. I'm not sure what can be done about this, but it has certainly reached an unhealthy level and he clearly needs professional help. When it's things like Stargate and Alias I have no problem with his convention attendance, some harmless fun in celebration of great programmes. However, only a little while ago he was talking about watching "Dead Like Me" an appalling looking program in which the main character is killed by a toilet, his reason for watching it, a convention was coming up. If this wasn't enough he has now said he wants to do the Kevin Sorbo event. Kevin Sorbo! Kevin Sorbo! I'm sorry Mark, but this has gone too far, Hercules and Andromeda? You need some serious help, you'll be going to Mutant X conventions next. I would apologise to Kevin Sorbo fans, but come on... Kevin Sorbo?
Random Observation of the day
There was a dead bird under the floorboards in the bathroom. it had obviously been there for a very long time, it was kind of dessicated.
Random observation of 5 minutes later
As soon as the blog was publishing I realised I had a much better random observation. Why is that? I spend ages thinking, put a rubbish one down then suddenly realise that I have seen some very interesting things today, this is almost an observation in itself. Oh well, the actual observation is this:
We had a door to door car salesman around earlier. Well, 2 of them actually. They looked quite young, it seemed odd, they were quite persistant. I didn't buy a car though. I presume they were actually advertising somewhere where they have a shop, rather than just selling cars door to door, but I don't know. I didn't talk to them, Helen did, I stood in the background.
Oh and while I'm doing so many observations I might as well do another one. Rob says it's "Kissing Day" which I thought was just an excuse to kiss Helen lots, not that he usually needs an excuse. They're terrible, tut. I hoped to prove him wrong, but sadly it's true, July 6th, international kissing day :-( Oh well, I won't be doing any kissing. Unless anyone wants to come round and declare their undying love for me, let's rephrase that to any males and they probably have to be within a certain age range, I don't know what exactly, but you know, not too old and probably not under about 20, I'd better know them too, don't really want random men trying to kiss me, scary, but then it'd be embarrassing if someone I know turns up and tries to kiss me, so in fact it might be best to forget the whole thing.
I could just ramble and perhaps that would put me into the blogging mindset, but I'm not entirely sure. I don't know. I've not even watched anything exciting on TV that I could talk about, though I did quite like the film "Paycheck."
Actually, speaking of TV, as I wasn't, but sort of was, I have become a recent convert to Alias, I can't remember if I mentioned this before, I never watched it on TV, but I watched Helen's season 1 box set and became hooked, then season 2 came out on DVD, so Helen bought that and I've watched it all now, but I want to see season 3 now, the problem is I don't know how to find it! I found an episode of season 3 on Bravo, but I don't know which episode it was, how annoying. I don't want to watch them in the wrong order and they may never come to terrestrial, so I may have to wait till the third season comes out on DVD, that could be ages, it's so unfair.
Random Observation of the day
My blog doesn't seem to be there at the moment. However, I seem to be able to blog. Looks like nobody's blogs are there at the moment. How terribly sad. If you're reading this then it's obviously back now. Well, unless you've hacked into my blogger section pretending to be me, not that anyone would ever go into someone else's blog, I know I certainly wouldn't, even if someone like Harriet hadn't been blogging for months, I'm sure I wouldn't hijack their blog :-)
