You know, I knew I hadn't blogged for a while, but I didn't realise it was over a week ago. I honestly thought I'd blogged more recently than that. So what have I done in that time? Nothing terribly exciting, did quite a bit of DIY, including laying a carpet on the stairs. Apparently, professionals don't lay carpets, they fit them, laying is unprofessional, well, I think we can safely say I laid mine :-) Went to Pizza Hut for a friend's birthday. Last night Helen, Rob and I went to Frankie and Bennie's and then to watch "Around the world in 80 days", which was quite good, nothing amazing, but quite fun. So I've been out twice this week, that's very unusual. I'm meant to be sitting in at the computer every night.
Random observation of the day
The music at the end of "Around the world in 80 days" was appalling. They had this terrible song about going around the world bringing peace and how mice would dance with cats and dogs, it was horribly cutesy, yuck. Then there was this awful version of "It's a Small World" which was sung by the Baha Men.
