I forgot to mention, I saw Underworld the other day. I liked it, it was very good, so I obviously don't find everything boring lately, but yes, I did find Stargate boring :-(
Random observation of the day - in fact this is delayed from yesterday and is more a piece of advice:
When arranging to go to some sort of place that you haven't been before, picking an example purely at random, let's say, "the recycling centre" check that at least one of you knows:
a) Where exactly it is
b) Whether it is in fact open
This may lead to less disappointment than if you drive around searching and when you finally arrive there discover it seems to have closed down.
