I'm feeling better today, I felt really ill all day yesterday so I spent the day being very unproductive. I did go to church, 'cos mean Helen wouldn't let me go back to sleep (okay, admittedly I did have to go because I have Hullabaloo next week and had to speak to several people or there would have been nothing sorted for next week, so it's very good that she made me go and if she hadn't I would have gone anyway, but that doesn't mean that she's not a nasty meanie, although she did make me nice food and stuff and she's making dinner tonight too).
So yesterday after I'd sorted out people to do stuff next week and been to Mary's for a brief and not particularly helpful meeting (we were both feeling ill, so only sorted out about 3 things) I lay on the sofa all day watching TV. I watched Batteries Not Included and both Terminators, I also watched the programme on channel 5 about the Terminator films, that was coincidental, I'd alread watched Terminator and was planning on watching T2 later when my random flicking discovered that it was Terminator night on channel 5. I watched the end of Last Action Hero and the Terminator thing before watching my video of T2 (thus saving about half an hour of my life by missing the adverts but being exposed to more renditions of the F word as it's not edited).
I discovered something from watching the Terminator films, it's been years since I last watched them, I can't remember the last time I watched them, (I don't think I've watched Terminator since I was old enough to do so) but what I do remember is that I used to like T2 a lot more than the first Terminator, however yesterday I preferred the original. I don' t know if this is to do with me being older, or because I'm a lot more familiar with the second film, so the first one was more exciting (although I still knew what was about to happen). I just found the second film has a lot of talking, particularly by the kid and is a bit too All American family or something. Does that make me bad? Shouldn't I like the good moral teaching? Oh well, never mind eh.
