I haven't blogged for 10 days, that's terrible, sorry. I'm at work on my lunchbreak at the moment, I just read
Helen's blog and was starting to get teary, honestly, I don't do crying, what's she done to me? I don't think I'll get all deep too, might be too much, overloading everyone, and anyway I have to open the library in 15 minutes.
I'm sure that there were things I've been meaning to blog about. Oh, I know, this is a very sad observation, but on Sunday I noticed a sticker on the back of a road sign, it was one of those limited parking zone signs (you no, no parking between such and such and such and such an hour) the sticker said "this steel sign has no resale value" or words to that effect, I think it was almost exactly those words. Anyway, as we (Helen and myself) carried on walking I saw that there was a sticker on every sign on that side of the road, but not on the signs on the next road, are these a new thing? Were people trying to resell the signs. I have to say I don't steal signs and have never even been tempted to (with the obvious exception of the frog migratory crossing sign which I would love to have but still think is wrong to take, so don't take). Anyway, my point is does having that sticker stop people stealing it? How do they know it has no resale value? Someone might be prepared to pay.
I'm rambling now, and should really make sure I'm ready to open, particularly as the person working with me this afternoon has arrived.
